  I'm going to keep it short and sweet and get right to the point: this place is not good. The ice cream is poor quality, the toppings and fruit are sad and the service is hostile, slow and unhelpful -- and I am taking into account here that this is France. However, I have experienced many perfectly friendly, helpful shops in both Strasbourg and Colmar (as well as elsewhere in France). And this isn't about speaking English, since many of these more helpful businesses were likewise non-English-speaking.
  
  Also, as a helpful hint if you still decide to attend, you aren't allowed to sit down if you order your ice cream from the window in cone form. Only if you order from the menu.
  
  P.S., their coffee was substandard. It's a tourist trap in the worst way. And I will say that if you are catering to tourists (as it's near the Cathedral), you might not want to display your contempt for tourists so clearly.
